Paynes Prairie
Cait took me to Payne’s Prairie Preserve State Park last week… It’s a shame I hadn’t been to this place before. It’s an absolute must-see for the Gainesville, FL area. You literally walk along a trail past 100’s of alligators. Not only to you get to see plenty of an animal that was once close to extinction, but you you also appreciate the state and federal governments efforts at preserving habitats necessary for many similar unique species.
